Each course provides a way for you to monitor your progress as you work through the training courses. You can indicate your understanding of articles and glossary terms by checking the box in front of them. This allows you to go back and review those topics that you may have found difficult. Before completing a module, you will be required to answer a few questions and provide an indication of the number of hours you spent on that module before you can move on to the next one. Additionally, you can make notes with each module that can be downloaded as a PDF. You can view your progress in the progress bar at the top of each module, and you can view the details in your course statistics page.

At 22Academy.com we are so sure about the quality of the CIPP/E Trial Exam that, if you pass your trial exam on the first attempt, and you somehow fail your certification exam right after, we will give you a full refund on the trial exam (including the optional analysis of your results). 

Of course, we assume you will pass your certification exam on the first attempt, but just in the rarest case that you won't, we will pay for a retake of the official exam in case you might fail on the first attempt, after successfully completing the CIPP/E Coach Program. To apply for this reimbursement, which will not exceed the limit of $375,- (or an equal part of this amount in case you purchased the CIPP/E Coach Program with a discount), the following terms apply:

- You have successfully completed the CIPP/E Coach Program and have received a positive advice from your coach;
- You can show the original message from IAPP with your failing scores from the first attempt;
- You must send us a proof of payment for the retake exam;
- The retake exam will follow the first attempt within 2 months;
Reimbursement will take place after the retake exam is taken and you have send us a copy of your scores. 

Just to be clear, this situation has never occurred, and we will always strive to make you pass on the first attempt!

After your registration or purchase you should have received an email from us that explains how to make a password for your account. If you are certain that you are registered or just purchased a product, but you don’t see any emails coming in, please allow it about 15 minutes and check your spam folder; the email might be there.
When you see the email, make sure it comes from no-reply@22academy.com and click the link to make your password. Make sure that your password contains at least eight characters (the more, the better), special signs, numbers, and capitals, to make it impossible to guess. Your password is personal and you should not share it with anyone; not even with us.
If you forgot your password, just click the 'forgot password' link, enter the e-mail address with which you previously registered, and you will receive another link to make a new password. With your new credentials you will have access to your dashboard again.

If you experience an issue with your internet connection during your test, the countdown timer will still be running. While you can attempt to log back in when your connection is restored, any time lost due to the issue will not be restored. At the end of the allotted time, your test will be automatically submitted, even if you are still offline. We have implemented this system to create an experience as close to that of a certification exam as possible.

With the support program or CIPP/E Coach Program, you will be guided during your route to certification. This is not a classroom course of two days, after which you are on your own, but an intensive study program that will get you ready to pass the CIPP/E exam on your first attempt, within 30 days! 

The program is different than the other courses, because it includes live one-on-one sessions with your coach, more videos, special assignments and more testing opportunities. This is all next to the already comprehensive training course that is a part of the package as well. 

Just like in official certification exams the clock will start to countdown as soon as you start your test or trial exam. If there is a problem with your internet connection after the clock has started, you can try to log in again, when your connection comes back up. However, the clock will still be running, so you will loose valuable time. If you are out of time, your test will automatically be submitted (also when you are offline at that moment). We chose this way of working to create the best experience and a similar pressure as with most certification exams.

The tests you can take with us are to prepare you for an official certification exam. The questions in a test are just as hard (and often even more difficult) as on certification exams, so you will have a good idea of what you are up against, and if you need more preparation. If we would be administering official certification exams, the products to prepare you for those will be too expensive. We chose to have a easily accessible service for everyone.

There are not many differences and we have strived to be as accurate as possible with our tests and trial exams. Just like with official exams, the test exams on 22Academy have a countdown clock, at least as many questions and scenarios, similar scoring in different categories, an equal level of difficulty, similar features to use during your test (i.e. bookmarking questions for later review, an overview page, making notes), etc.
However, be aware that with the official certification exams, your clock could start to count down before you can read the terms and conditions and the privacy statement of the proctor. These can be several pages, and it takes a long time to read it all; we think your time is better used to answer the questions, because in our experience you are going to need every one of the available minutes for that. Other than that, the conditions are similar to real exams to give you the best preparation!

Just as with some certification exams, you will not be able to see the exact questions (and answers) after completing the exam. With the trial exams on 22Academy, we have tried to give you the most accurate experience possible, and this applies to the scoring as well.

This means the exact questions and answers are irrelevant for your study, but the topics you failed on are all the more important. When to take a trial exam depends on your personal situation. If you have just studied and feel ready for your official exam, it is advisable to take your trial exam about a week prior to your official test. Especially if you booked the analysis of your results, you know which areas you need to revisit before you are ready and you have given yourself some time to study them.
If your score in the trial exam was very bad, you might even want to postpone your certification exam. With most organisations it is allowed to postpone your exam (for free), but you might need a few days to do that.
Others take the trial exam just a day prior to the certification exam, to get into the flow of answering difficult multiple-choice questions and reading lengthy scenarios. It can help you boost your confidence before going up for the real thing. But be aware that it can work against you, if it appears you are not entirely ready yet.

Exams are usually comprised of questions in several categories and these categories are scored individually. The categories (or domains) within an exam, might have a different passing threshold and you usually need to pass all individual categories to pass the exam. Yes, you can always take the same or another trial exam, regardless of if you passed or failed. Some people choose to take a trial exam to see where they stand and take it again before their certification exam, to see if they improved. Even if your score is good the first time, we will sometimes suggest you to take another attempt or different version of the test (if available) for extra practice, before going up for the official certification exam. It can help you to get into the flow of reading long scenarios and answering multiple choice questions. Practice makes perfect! 

We always advise you to take the personal analysis of your score with your exam, because it allows you to see where you went wrong, and to focus the remainder of your study on those topics, before trying again. If you booked the optional analysis of your score, it will be available to download (pdf) immediately after your test.
